HELVICK HEAD:  Sooty Shearwater, 10 Common Scoter, Great Skua, Arctic Skua & 28 Puffins W (seawatch 19:15-20:30).
DUNGARVAN:  2 Little Terns & a Mediterranean Gull.
 
Mon 30 July:
DUNGARVAN:  2 Little Terns off pitch & putt course.
 
Sun 29 July:
DUNGARVAN:  6 Little Terns off pitch & putt course, 5 Green Sandpipers & 8 Common Sandpipers at Ballyneety.
CLONEA STRAND:  2 adult Mediterranean Gulls flew south at Ballinclamper.
 
Sat 28 July:
DUNGARVAN: Adult Mediterranean Gull & 4 Whimbrel at Barnawee; Kingfisher, Green Sandpiper, 3 Common Sandpipers & 3 Mediterranean Gulls (2nd-summer and 2 adults including 3H97) at Ballyneety; 7 Mediterranean Gulls (4 adults & 3 1st-summers ) & 2 Common Sandpipers at Killongford.
KNOCKADERRY: Common Sandpiper.
CARRIGAVANTRY: 7 Crossbills & 2 Common Sandpipers.
 
Fri 27 July:
WHITING BAY:  3 Common Sandpipers.
ARDMORE:  4 Common Sandpipers at Curragh.
 
Thurs 26 July:
KNOCKMEALDOWN MOUTNAINS:  Family of Grasshopper Warblers.
ARDMORE:  2 Mediterranean Gulls (1st-summer & 2nd-summer) at Curragh.
 
Weds 25 July:
DUNGARVAN:  4 Green Sandipers, 8 Common Sandpipers & 2 Kingfishers at Ballyneety.
RAM HEAD:  22 Puffins W (seawatch 18:50-19:20); only 2 large Kittiwake chicks produced from 117 nests counted in June.
 
Tues 24 July:
DUNGARVAN:  ROSE-COLOURED STARLING still at Seapark, Abbeyside.
 
Mon 23 July:
RIVER SUIR nr POULDREW:  Manx Shearwater seen flying downriver c08:30 - a rare inland record; still present at 18:30, sitting on water above Mt Congreve.
HELVICK HEAD:  85 Puffins (83 W, & 2 non-flying or poorly-flying juveniles on sea close inshore), c250 Manx Shearwates W/hr, 3 Pomarine Skuas, 2 Arctic Skuas, Great Skua & 4 Common Scoters all W (seawatch 08:30-14:00).
DUNGARVAN:  5 Mediterranean Gulls (2 adult, 2 1st-summer & a 2nd-summer) at Killongford, 4th-summer Yellow-legged Gull, Green Sandpiper & 3 Common Sandpipers at Ballyneety, 5 Mediterranean Gulls (2 adult, 2 1st-summer including red darvic HK36 & a 2nd-summer) at Killongford.
CLONEA STRAND:  Adult Mediterranean Gull at Ballinclamper.
 
Sun 22 July:
DUNGARVAN:  ROSE-COLOURED STARLING still at Seapark, Abbeyside; Green Sandpiper, 8 Common Sandpipers & adult Mediterranean Gull at Ballyneety.
HELVICK HEAD:  73 Puffins W (1 E), Pomarine Skua, 2 Arctic SkuasArctic/Pomarine Skua, Storm Petrel & 10-15 Common Scoter W (seawatches 14.35-16.05, 17:35-18:35 & 19:30-21:00).
BUNMAHON:  Storm Petrel W.
BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  865 Manx Shearwaters W, 41 Common Scoter E (12 W), Great Skua E, 6 Arctic Skuas E, 2 Arctic/Pomarine Skuas W & 5 Puffins W (seawatch 06:40-10:40).
 
Sat 21 July:
DUNGARVAN: Adult ROSE-COLOURED STARLING still present at Seapark, Abbeyside (video); 2 Yellow-legged Gulls (3rd- & 4th-calendar-year), 8 Common Sandpipers & 3 Green Sandpipers at Ballyneety; 5 Common Sandpipers & 6 Mediterranean Gulls (3 adults, 2 1st-summers & 1 2nd-summer)) at Killongford; adult Mediterranean Gull (white darvic 3H97) at Barnawee;
RAM HEAD:  530 Manx Shearwaters & a Great Skua W, 4-5 Sooty Shearwaters (3 feeding, 2 W), 16 Common Scoter E (seawatch 06:30-08:30), & a HUMPBACK WHALE.
BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  620 Manx Shearwaters E (seawatch 18:45-19:45).
 
Fri 20 July:
DUNGARVAN: Adult ROSE-COLOURED STARLING ent at Seapark, Abbeyside (video & here), 4 Mediterranean Gulls at Barnawee.
RAM HEAD:  Sooty Shearwater, Balearic Shearwater, 500+ Manx Shearwaters, 32 Common Scoter (23 W & 9 on water), 2 Minke Whales, 2 Bottlenose Dolphins & 3 Porpoises.
Nr TALLOW:  2 Spotted Flycatchers (adult + recent fledgling) at Chucrhwater, Kilwatermoy.
KNOCKBRACK QUARRY (nr Clashmore):  Emperor dragonfly.
Nr ANNESTOWN:  Adult Mediterranean Gull in field west of Annestown.
 
Thurs 19 July:
DUNGARVAN: Adult ROSE-COLOURED STARLING at Seapark, Abbeyside (2nd county record).
HELVICK HEAD:  Puffin W.
TANKARDSTOWN (nr Dungarvan): Great Skua & 117 Manx Shearwaters E (seawatch 15:10-15:40).
Nr WATERFORD CITY:  Emperor dragongly at IDA park, Cork Road.
 
Weds 18 July:
DUNGARVAN:  2nd-summer Mediterranean Gull at Barnawee.
ARDMORE:  Juvenile Cuckoo & 1st-summer Mediterranean Gull.
WEST WATERFORD:  Buzzard.
 
Tues 17 July:
HELVICK HEAD:  Balearic Shearwater, 2nd-summer SABINE'S GULL & Puffin W(seawatch 18:40-20:15), also 350 Manx Shearwaters W (18:40-19:40).
BUNMAHON:  5 Storm Petrels, Pomarine Skua & 3 Great Skuas W (seawatch 09:40-11:40), another Pomarine Skua W later & Great Northern Diver on sea.
 
Mon 16 July:
HELVICK HEAD:  Balearic Shearwater, 2 Sooty Shearwaters, 2 Great or Cory's Shearwaters, Storm Petrel, Pomarine Skua, 5 Arctic Skuas & 2 Puffins (seawatch 10:30-13:00).
DUNGARVAN:  20 Mediterranean Gulls (record day-total for Co Waterford) - 6 at Ballyneety (2 adults, 2 2nd-summers & 2 1st-summers) & 14 at Barnawee (7 adults, 4 2nd-summers & 3 1st-summers)

DUNGARVAN:  9 Mediterranean Gulls (2 adults, 3 2nd-summers & 4 1st-summers) at Barnawee.
WOODSTOWN BOG:  Reed Warbler & 2 Water Rails.
 
Sat 14 July:
BLACKWATER VALLEY:  8 Common Sandpipers at Clashmore broads.
KINSALEBEG:  3 Green Sandpipers.
WHITING BAY:  9 Tree Sparrows & female Hen Harrier.
RAM HEAD:  9 Common Scoter flew W & 3 Fin Whales.
KILMURRAY (nr Dungarvan):  Merlin.
DUNGARVAN:  Common Sandpiper at Killongford; 5 Common Sandpipers, Green Sandpiper & 3 Mediterranean Gulls ( 2 adults including 3H97 & a 1st-summer bird ) at Ballyneety; 7 Mediterranean Gulls (green darvic-ringed 2nd-summer R27R, 5 adults & a  1st-summer) at Barnawee. R27R was ringed as a chick at Conchil le Temple, Pas de Calais, France on 11/06/2010.
BALLYVOYLE:  2 Common Sandpipers.
TRAMORE BACKSTRAND:  2 Common Sandpipers at Clohernagh.
 
Fri 13 July:
BALLYSCANLON:  2-3 Crossbills.
Nr KNOCKADERRY RESERVOIR:  Bank Vole.
BALLYVOYLE:  Common Sandpiper.
 
Thurs 12 July:
DUNGARVAN:  3 Green Sandpipers, 6+ Common Sandpipers, 2 Mediterranean Gulls (adult & 1st-summer) & 2 juvenile Kingfishers at Ballyneety.

DUNGARVAN:  10+ Common Sandpipers & 4 Green Sandpipers at Ballyneety.
MONAVULLAGH MOUNTAINS:  Male Hen Harrier.
ARDMORE:  Adult Mediterranean Gull (ringed bird) at Curragh.
TALLOW FORESTS:  Crossbill, 3 Jays & Red Squirrel nr Kilcalfmountain.
WEST WATERFORD:  Buzzard pair.
 
Mon 9 July:
DUNGARVAN:  Otter & 3 Green Sandpipers at Ballyneety, 2 Common Seals at Park Hotel.
BALLINLOUGH:  5 Spotted Flycatchers.
 
Sun 8 July:
DUNGARVAN:  Otter, Water Rail, Whimbrel, 4 Common Sandpipers, 4 Green Sandpipers and 3 Mediterranean Gulls (adult white darvic ring 3H97 returning for its 6th year & 2 1st-summers) at Ballyneety; Common Sandpiper & 2nd-summer Mediterranean Gull at Killongford. 3H7 was ringed as a chick at Fiskeholm, Helnaes Bugt, Fyn, Denmark on 04/06/2005. 
 
Sat 7 July:
DUNGARVAN:  5 adult Mediterranean Gulls (1 with white darvic ring) & 10+ Common Sandpiper at Ballinclamper.
 
Fri 6 July:
CLONEA STRAND:  2 adult Mediterranean Gulls & Comon Sandiper at Ballinclamper.
 
Thurs 5 July:
CLONEA STRAND:  3 Mediterranean Gulls (2 adults & 1st-summer) & Common Sandpiper at Ballinclamper.
