BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  YELLOW-BROWED WARBLERLESSER WHITETHROATTurtle Dove, Pied Flycatcher, 6 Spotted Flycatchers, 20+ Chiffchaffs & 2 Wheatears.
 
Sun 29 Sept:
BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  LESSER WHITETHROATYellow Wagtail (video), Turtle Dove, 2 Whinchats, 3 White Wagtails, 4 Spotted Flycatchers, Blackcap & Whitethroat.
Nr WATERFORD CITY:  Turtle Dove nr Holy Cross Inn, Cork road.
DUNGARVAN:  Little Stint & 3 Green Sandpipers at Killongford pools.
HELVICK HEAD:  Turtle Dove.
ARDMORE:  Turtle Dove along Goat Island road, Mediterranean Gull on beach, Grasshopper Warbler near coastguard station.
 
Sat 28 Sept:
BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  LESSER WHITETHROATGarden Warbler, 2 Turtle Doves, 4 White Wagtails, 3 Tree Sparrows, 4 Spotted Flycatchers, 5 Blackcaps, Whitethroat, 19 Chiffchaffs, 2 Willow Warblers, 60+ House Martins (E), 300+ Meadow Pipits, Great Skua (E), Great Northern Diver (E) & a Vestal moth (by day).
TRAMORE TOWN:  3 Vestal moths light-trapped.
DUNHILL:  Kingfisher.
BALLYVOYLE:  Adult Mediterranean Gull.
RAM HEAD:  c100 House Martins, 300 Swallows, 100 Meadow Pipits & 2 Siskins passed (09:05-10:00).
WEST WATERFORD:  3 Buzzards.
 
Fri 27 Sept:
BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  WRYNECKLESSER WHITETHROAT, Reed Warbler, 2 Turtle Doves, 4 White Wagtails, 6 Tree Sparrows, 4-5 Spotted Flycatchers, 3 Blackcaps, 2 Whitethroats, 12+ Chiffchaffs, Willow Warbler & 300+ Meadow Pipits; also a Vestal moth by day.
TRAMORE BACKSTRAND:  Kingfisher at Clohernagh.
TRAMORE TOWN:  Vestal moth light-trapped.
HELVICK HEAD:  Whinchat.
ARDMORE:  Turtle Dove & 2 Spotted Flycatchers by Round Tower, another (juvenile) Turtle Dove along Goat island road.
 
Thurs 26 Sept:
BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  Turtle Dove (video) Whinchat.
TRAMORE TOWN:  Gem & White-speck light-trapped.
 
Weds 25 Sept:
BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  10+ Tree Sparrows, White Wagtail, 6 Snipe, 3 Blackcaps, 4 Willow Warblers & 5 Chiffchaffs.
NEWTOWN COVE:  Redwing heard (1st of autumn).
GREAT NEWTOWN HEAD:  Delicate, White-speck & Scarce Bordered Straw light-trapped.
 
Tues 24 Sept:
CLONEA:  Grasshopper Warbler at Ballinclamper.
TRAMORE TOWN:  White-speck & 7 Vestal moths light-trapped.
 
Mon 23 Sept:
BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  Reed Warbler & Tree Sparrow
 
Sun 22 Sept:
RAM HEAD:  GREAT SHEARWATER, 2 Arctic Skuas, 11 Common Scoter, 32 Common Dolphins & 2 Porpoises (seawatch 08:20-11:20).
ARDMORE:  Juvenile Turtle Dove (video) along Goat Island road, Pied Flycatcher behind Round Tower, 9 Mediterranean Gulls (including 'E666').
HELVICK HEAD:  3 Blackcaps.
DUNGARVAN:  Common Sandpiper at Ballyneety, 30+ Great Crested Grebes in harbour.
 
Sat 21 Sept:
ARDMORE:  3 Mediterranean Gulls (adult & 2 2nd-winters).
DUNGARVAN:  8 Curlew Sandpipers (2 at Cunnigar, 6 at Ballyneety).
BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  Great Skua, Red-throated Diver & 2 Arctic Terns E, Common Scoter W & Porpoise (seawatch 08:10-11:10); 8 Chiffchaffs & 19 Choughs.
 
Fri 20 Sept:
GREAT NEWTOWN HEAD:  Great Skua E, 3 Common Scoter W & 3 Common Dolphins (seawatch 07:35-08:35).
TRAMORE BACKSTRAND:  48 Brent Geese at Lisselan.
DUNGARVAN:  Juvenile Curlew Sandpiper.
 
Thurs 19 Sept:
DUNGARVAN:  Green Sandpiper at Brickey canal.
CLONEA:  Arctic Skua.
BALLYVOYLE:  Common Sandpiper & Dipper.
STRADBALLY:  Kingfisher.
 
Weds 18 Sept:
ARDMORE:  5 Mediterranean Gulls (including white ring 'E666') at harbour, 3 (including red ring 'PNT9') at Curragh; skua species over bay.
 
Sun 15 Sept:
HELVICK HEAD:  3 Balearic Shearwaters, c500 Manx Shearwaters, 2 Pomarine Skuas, 5 Arctic Skuas, 16+ Great Skuas, 12 Puffins, 4 Common Scoter & 9 Wigeon (seawatch 08:00-13:00).
DUNGARVAN:  24 Little Egrets above Barnawee bridge.
CLONEA STRAND:  Curlew Sandpiper at Ballinclamper.
COMERAGH MOUNTAINS:  40+ Ravens, female Hen Harrier & Dipper.
TRAMORE:  Adult Mediterranean Gull & 11 Coots at boating lake.
BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  Sooty Shearwater & 3 Great Skuas W (seawatch 09:00-12:00); 20 Choughs.
 
Sat 14 Sept:
BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  1000+ Swallows, 3 Spotted Flycatchers, 8 Wheatears, Grasshopper Warbler, 3 Blackcaps, 18 Chiffchaffs & 23+ Tree Sparrows.
 
Fri 13 Sept:
CLONEA STRAND:  Spotted Flycatcher at Ballinclamper.
 
Thurs 12 Sept:
DUNGARVAN:  Green Sandpiper at Ballyneety.
 
Weds 11 Sept:
ARDMORE:  2 Mediterranean Gulls at Curragh (one with white ring 'E713' - ringed as a chick at Arnhem, Netherlands, 12 June 2012).
WEST WATERFORD: Buzzard.
KNOCKADERRY RESERVOIR:  Gadwall.
 
Mon 9 Sept:
DUNGARVAN:  Little Stint at the Cunnigar, Kingfisher at Brickey canal.
TRAMORE BACKSTRAND:  9 Wheatears at Lisselan.
 
Sun 8 Sept:
RAM HEAD:  Storm Petrel & Common Scoter.
TRAMORE BACKSTRAND:  2 Brent Geese, female Shoveler, 2 Spotted Flycatchers & 11+ Wheatears at Lisselan.
BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  Adult Mediterranean Gull & 8 Wheatears.
BELLE LAKE:  Reed Warbler & 2 Water Rails.
 
Sat 7 Sept:
DUNGARVAN:  Little Stint, 3+ Curlew Sandpipers & an early Brent Goose at the Cunnigar.
BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  Puffin E & skua species (seawatch 07:45-10:45), Spotted Flycatcher, Grasshopper Warbler, 10 Willow Warblers, 6 Wheatears & 23 Choughs.
 
Fri 6 Sept:
TRAMORE BACKSTRAND:  2 White Wagtails at Lisselan.
BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  2 Tree Sparrows, 15 Wheatears, Blackcap, 7 Willow Warblers & 3 Chiffchaffs.
 
Weds 4 Sept:
TRAMORE:  Adult Mediterranean Gull on beach.
CLONEA STRAND:  2 adult Mediterranean Gulls at Ballinclamper.
ARDMORE:  6 Mediterranean Gulls at Curragh, including colour-ringed subadult.
 
Mon 2 Sept:
WATERFORD CITY:  Kingfisher at St John's River in People's Park.
 
Sun 1 Sept:
DUNGARVAN:  Juvenile Spotted Redshank, juvenile Curlew Sandpiper & adult Yellow-legged Gull at Killongford, adult Curlew Sandpiper at Colligan opposite Fraher's Field.
BELLE LAKE:  2 Reed Warblers & 11 Sedge Warblers ringed, 2 Water rails calling.
